There are still places here, where all of us have been photographed when we were kids: the two dragons at the entrance to the museum, the old trees in front of the ancient looking building, which still look the same. You can see lots of young couples sitting under the trees holding hands (and whatever part), because of the privacy they can find only here, at this public place... funny even this hasn't changed through the years...Live at the Saigon zoo...
Exciting part was also the feeding of little asian elephants. Driving around with the zoo train for about 10 min. was more expensive than the taxi+tickets to the zoo. We also bought the kids some of the wonderful sort of origami animals handicrafted with young palm leaves by students. After the zoo, we took a taxi to a big supermarket... it's amazing to see all sort of foods ad stuff, which you would have a hard time to find in Germany in such an abundance and -comparatively- cheap prices. I wish we could buy our food here everyday...Co-op supermarket...
